Loup Logistics Rail Expansion Project at Our Colton Transload Facility is Complete
Loup is excited to announce the rail expansion project at our Colton Transload facility is complete! We know this construction has impacted your business and we appreciate your patience as we have progressed through this process. The Colton Transload facility is located at 1280 Jefferson Lane, Colton, CA, and is ready to support your business. We have some further enhancements coming soon, including a new truck access road to improve truck flows and warehouse upgrades, which will both be completed later this year. These infrastructure improvements to our Colton Transload facility will allow us to improve the facilities overall capacity, fluidity, and safety.
Additional details on these enhancements are provided below:
- Two additional tracks, which will increase transload capacity by ~70% (highlighted in green)
- Major improvements to both existing tracks (highlighted in blue)
- Upgraded boxcar dock and new truck dock leading to our warehouse (highlighted in yellow)
- Improved ground storage, layout design and truck staging
