Meet Israel Briseno. He’s a Business Development Manager for the UPDS Carload Solutions team responsible for developing Mexico markets.

What does that mean? It means Israel:

  • Finds new opportunities for shippers to leverage rail, transloading and truck
  • Maintains a solid network of transloaders in Mexico
  • Develops relationships with other railroads, like Ferromex and Kansas City Southern de Mexico in Mexico, but also CSXT and Norfolk Southern in the U.S. and Canadian Pacific and Canadian National in Canada.

Israel says that our network and relationships with railroads and transloaders allow him to develop a transportation solution customized to a customer’s needs, regardless of their location or the challenges they face. So even if a customer isn’t rail served, Israel can provide options that give them access to an economical rail solution. His goal? To give customers all of the tools available to make doing business easier — and that applies to both new and existing customers.
