It’s no secret we’re big fans of transloading here at UPDS. So it’s also no surprise we’re excited to head to Kansas City for the annual Transload Distribution Association of North America (TDANA) Transloading Conference May 2-4.

This year’s theme is “Gearing Up Your Transloading Business." The agenda will feature speakers addressing three key themes:

• International Markets and Mexico Opportunities
• Logistics Role & Impacts on Transloading
• Transloading Growth through Mergers, Acquisitions and Facility Expansion

UPDS will be hosting a luncheon as well as a breakout session between presenters. The conference features some fun, too. Activities include:

• A golf outing at Shoal Creek Golf Club
• Shuttle Wagon Plant Tour
• Kansas City Royals Baseball Game against the Chicago White Sox

Our goal for this conference will be to learn the latest in transloading and use it to develop new and improved solutions for our customers.

This is the 25th TDANA Conference, and we’re looking forward to celebrating its silver anniversary with the many members of the transloading community.

The goal of TDANA is to foster development in the transload industry and represent the interests of the transloading industry to business and political leaders. TDANA also provides a networking platform for members in the transportation industry. The annual conference is an excellent example of that, as it provides an opportunity for all segments of the industry, including shippers, rail and truck carriers, equipment suppliers, industry experts and transloaders, to meet up and learn about the most pressing industry issues.
